Developing fresh campaign ideas for one of advertising’s most iconic bottles.

Over several years on the Absolut account, I helped develop concepts across seasonal flavor campaigns, classic bottle advertising, and interactive web experiences. The work spanned print, digital, web, and outdoor, with each campaign needing to feel unmistakably Absolut while still bringing something new to a brand with enormous cultural and visual legacy.

I worked as an art director, helping shape concepts and collaborating closely with illustrators, retouchers, and production partners to bring the final campaigns to life. Absolut’s bottle-centered advertising has been a defining part of the brand’s identity for decades, and the brand remains one of the world’s largest international spirits brands.

Challenge

The challenge was creating original work for a brand with one of the most established visual traditions in advertising. With so much already done, every new idea had to honor the legacy, satisfy a blue-chip client, and still feel surprising.

Amazing Results

The campaigns extended across print, outdoor, digital, and web, helping evolve the Absolut visual world across multiple initiatives. Some of the work was also recognized in Adage and other publications.
